Compensation: To $190K, plus bonus.

Job Overview – Director Of Tax – 33501

We're seeking top notch financial talent for a Tax Director role with our client. We're looking for a game-changing candidate who can lead the tax team/department at a growing financial services company. Ideal candidate will have experience with corporate tax regulation compliance as well as ensuring optimal tax position and mitigating financial risks.

Requirements

• 9 years in a senior tax role
• experience overseeing the timely preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, in compliance with all federal, state and local tax laws and accounting standards (ASC 740)
• experience with developing strategies to minimize the corporations tax burden and optimizing the company's global tax position.
• managerial experience with a corporation handling their taxes, including reorgs, and M&A activity.
• experience utilizing tax compliance software such as Corptax, Reuters, OneSource or similar platform
• Excellent communication and negotiation and dispute resolution skills (particularly related to audits and tax litigation)
