ABOUT THE ROLE:
- The Associate Front-End Application Developer is responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and interactive user interfaces for digital platforms, such as websites, across multiple device sizes. They are also responsible for ensuring the seamless performance of applications on various devices and browsers. The incumbent will have a foundational understanding of front-end application development, programming languages, tools, and delivery models.
WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:
- Understand the practical applicability of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, under the guidance of experienced team members
- Create API documentation and test back-end integrations to enable smooth integration between front-end and server-side components
- Research and be familiar with reusable code and libraries market trends and practices
- Perform basic testing on various devices to evaluate seamless application performance and learn techniques to resolve compatibility issues
- Gather user feedback, report any UI/UX issues, and ensure that design assets are up-to-date and consistent with design guidelines to ensure interfaces are visually appealing and functional
- Develop communication skills to convey technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users
- Research and document relevant web services and APIs, ensuring the necessary resources are available for integration
- Strive to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to front-end development, learning from experienced team members and using available resources

- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in lieu of a degree, at least 2 years of experience in front-end application development or application engineering
- 0-2 years of experience in application development or engineering
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks, Photoshop and/or other graphic design tools
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
