About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including PLC operations, programming, and wiring of 24-volt circuits. You will work closely with Plant Engineers to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install new equipment as required
- Repair plant equipment, changing or making modifications
- Sustain production equipment and make adjustments as necessary
- General building repair
- Work with Plant Engineer on design of detailed projects
Requirements:
- Must have at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have electrical and three (3) years maintenance experience with industrial equipment / equipment installations / equipment modifications
- Must have experience in electric repairs on existing motors, switches, etc.
- Must have experience with conduit and wire installation
- Must have working knowledge and comprehension of equipment blueprints, good mathematical skills, and be able to read and understand equipment diagrams
