**Job Summary:**
This position is an essential part of Sherwin's manufacturing team, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support production requirements and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive working environment.
- Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
- Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Must have at least one (1) year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have at least two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
- Have an industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or license.
- Have at least one (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts.
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (
