JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- The Mobile Developer role is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining applications for proprietary/licensable mobile devices and platforms. The role requires collaboration with product managers and project managers to determine the application requirements. The incumbent must possess attention to detail, a strong understanding of integrated development platforms, and knowledge of programming languages relevant to mobile development to create and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS, Android, and other mobile platforms. Ultimately, the role will support in software applications development for proprietary/licensable mobile devices and platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:
- Participate in requirement-gathering meetings with analysts, product managers, developers and project managers and draft requirements and specifications for custom mobile applications
- Assist in establishing a mobile infrastructure that will support the application including the flow of data and users
- Develop a timeline and workplan to effectively design, develop, and test mobile applications for Android, iOS and other mobile platforms
- Write efficient code for mobile applications using developing knowledge of mobile platforms, cross-platform development tools, and leveraging available APIs where appropriate
- Develop standards and guidelines on mobile data management to ensure mobile application security
- Identify potential bugs and assist the team in conducting bug fixes and upgrading to new versions
This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.
This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or in lieu of a degree, at least 3 years of experience in mobile application development or software development
- Preferred
- Xamarin Certified Developer
Skills and Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in mobile development
- Experience with integrated development platforms (Xamarin, Kony, Appcelerator, EMM/MDM, iOS SDK, Android SDK, etc.)
- Moderate understanding of mobile security and mobile development best practices
- Experience with mobile data management
- Experience with Apple iOS native development platform (iOS, SwiftUI, Xcode, Flutter, Firebase, TestFlight) as well as standard SDLC practices and tools (standups, ceremonials, lifecycle, JIRA, Confluence, Git)
- Experience with React Native is a plus
