What the role will do
- Build and manage the infrastructure and tooling used for continuous delivery
- Automate release, deployment, and upgrade processes
- Create and maintain pipelines for software releases and deployments
- Drive testing throughout the development, integration, deployment, and management of the software solution, and automating where possible to ensure solution quality and security
- Support the continuous refinement and prioritization of unplanned work
- Collaborate with other DevOps Engineers, Platform Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Security to streamline processes, eliminate roadblocks, and operate the system from end-to-end
- Provide ongoing solution support including incident and problem management, root cause analysis, request fulfilment, security compliance, fault repair, resiliency testing, and observability
- Review monitoring dashboards to understand system and environment performance, proactively maintaining system availability and reliability
- Conduct research and recommend cutting-edge technologies that align with DevOps best practices

Qualifications
Education
- Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in automation, configuration management, and continuous integration and deployment
- Preferred AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and/or Red Hat Certified Engineer
Required Knowledge and Experience
- 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, with a track record of implementing continuous delivery solutions in a containerization
- Experience with using automation tools
- Experience implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate relevant applications
- Excellent programming skills (i.e., Python, Bash, and PowerShell)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC
