Job Description

Tasks of this position will include but are not limited to, picking orders from the warehouse, quality checking orders that have been picked from the warehouse, then packing those orders and preparing them to be shipped. As the packages are prepped for shipping a Warehouse Operator must have an understanding of the shipping systems to be able to assist in the shipping of outgoing packages as they are available.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and vendors.”

Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

Assist with the bi-weekly closing of the Jeter system for mailing to Stores and Reps.

Tasks:

Assembly/Collation of materials

Labeling Boxes/Bags/Envelopes

Matching Store/Rep numbers on all pieces of material collated and placed in the Jeters

Moving Materials to Staging Areas and removing them when completed

Shrink wrapping packets

Inserting material in Jeters/Bins

Inserting all materials from Jeters into Bags/Envelopes for mailing to the Store Locations

Additional Responsibilities As Needed

  • Operating various pieces of finishing equipment
  • Unpack skids and restock inventory items
  • Filling customer orders with Print on Demand items and moving them to the warehouse
  • Pick inventory items from the warehouse to fill customer orders
  • Operate a cardboard baler
  • Keep the dock clean and clear for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Product packaging for customer orders
  • Shipping packages via UPS or FedEx shipping systems

Qualifications

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • At least 1 year experience working in a Print & Mail Facility or Distribution Center
