This role is crucial for enhancing the customer experience at our retail locations. As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will collaborate with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest the most suitable solutions.

Your mission will be to swiftly resolve any customer concerns while ensuring maximum satisfaction. Staying informed about product features and maintaining the high quality and visual standards of our offerings and the store environment will be essential. You will strive to deliver outstanding customer service while consistently contributing to the store's sales objectives.

In this position, you will have regular interaction with customers, including minors, and manage cash and payment processing. Your access to sensitive information and store resources underscores the importance of a background check to uphold the safety and reputation of our operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction through effective sales support.
  • Assist customers in discovering their needs and present suitable products and solutions.
  • Establish trusting relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions while adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve products from sales areas or inventory as needed.
  • Prepare and adjust products to customer specifications.
  • Stock shelves and create appealing displays.
  • Maintain store equipment cleanliness.
  • Assist with delivery logistics as required.
  • Ensure assigned areas remain in stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
  • Experience selling paint and related products.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Proficiency in more than one language.
  • Capability to communicate in Spanish.
