This position is crucial to the success of our retail stores. Customer Service Specialists collaborate closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, address their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest suitable solutions. They are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction, as well as stay up-to-date with product features and maintain high-quality and visual standards for the products and store.
The key responsibilities of Customer Service Specialists include achieving exceptional customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales goals. Their duties involve interacting with customers, which may include minors, and accessing cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuable items, potentially under supervised or unsupervised conditions.
Due to these circumstances, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect its business and operations, reputation, and the safety of its customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to work at stores within a 15-mile radius of the designated store location. This is a FULL-TIME position with a starting pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of Customer Service Specialists include:
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
- Building productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
- Processing sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
- FOLLOWING AND ACHIEVING SALES GOALS ON A MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND YEARLY BASIS.
- Maintaining precise work order files and formulas.
- Pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Tinting and mixing products as needed to customer specifications.
- Stocking shelves and setting up displays.
- Cleaning store equipment.
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks.
- Assisting in making deliveries as needed.
- Maintaining in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
- Remaining knowledgeable on products offered and discussing available options.
- Complying with inventory control procedures.
- Suggesting ways to improve sales.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
- Be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
