Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
- Evaluate, help create HR policies, programs, and practices.
- Educate regional administrative staff regarding HR policies, internal procedures and regulations.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from employees and counsel employees and supervisors.
- Answer employee questions and concerns regarding policy, procedure and employee handbook interpretations.
- Conduct investigations.
- Oversee the maintenance of physical and digital files for employees and their documents.
- Involvement in benefits procurement and enrollment.
- Work on special projects.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
Human Resources Manager Qualifications / Skills:
- Experienced Human Resources Generalist
- Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
- Coaching skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field or similar work experience
- 3 years of experience in a human resources supervisory position
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
