Your mission is to instill a love of dance while helping develop beautiful humans. Through your implementation of the studio mission and values, sharing your own passion and knowledge for dance, and a holistic view of dance education, you develop both the dancer and the human.
Requirements
- A welcoming, kind, nurturing teacher with a genuine love of teaching young children
- Jazz and Acro training (Ballet and Tap are a bonus) and the ability to teach these styles.
- An ability to create fun and interesting choreography and prepare students for performances
- An ability to build connections with students, parents and other teaching team members
- Experienced and confident leading and engaging a class of dancers
- Good knowledge of childhood development or keen to learn
- Believes in our values and teaching philosophies and the importance of joy and imagination
- You delight in seeing your dancers flourish
- Experienced following a syllabus and planning for the progressive learning of each class
- A desire for personal growth and learning and furthering their continued professional development
- Year-round teaching commitment
- Reliable, professional and accountable
- Confident with online systems for general administrative tasks
- Schedule is not yet set. Hours could include 3-8pm Monday through Friday.
