What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Football Coach - Fall 2025 position at SHERWOOD HIGH SCHOOL?
Start Date: August 2025
Previous high school coaching experience recommended.
The coach will assist the varsity coach in all aspects of the program and will be responsible for a sub-varsity team.
The applicant must be able to display the following attributes:
- A commitment to high ethical and professional standards
- A demonstrated ability to lead yount student-athletes toward academic and athletic excellence
- A strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Skilled in organization, time management and a commitment to the vision of the Sherwood Athletic Program
- A great understanding of the training, skill development and coaching techniques involved in high school football
- The ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of football throughout the community
- A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achievement for all student-athletes in the program
