Shey’s Veterinary Hospital is currently a one and ½ doctor private practice dedicated to

general medicine. We pride ourselves on the quality of medicine we provide to each

individual patient, focusing primarily on canine and feline medicine.

We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 8:00 am- 6:00 pm

Saturday- 8:30 am- 5:00 pm

Closed on Wednesday and Sunday,

Closed on all major holidays

Full time is 32 hours and up.

Part-time is anything up to 20 hours.

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We look for

individuals that want to learn and grow in the field of veterinary medicine.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience

Certifications preferred but not needed

Common knowledge of medical terminology

Surgical knowledge preferred. Monitoring, knowledge of Anesthesia.

Placement of IV catheter

Preventive Care and Vaccine knowledge

Good Customer Services

Most be able to retain information given by clients and doctors.

Most be able to perform well in high pace environment

Most be able to multi- task.

Phone Skills are a most.

Be able to communicate effectively with clients and team.

Restraining of different species of animals.

Knowledge of Radiology and positioning.

Starting negotiation base pay is $ 15-16 depending on experience.
