We call it Digital Agility.To learn more about how we’re shaping the future of digital business and a more secure world, visit stratascale.com.ResponsibilitiesInclude, but not limited to : Design and implement IaaS and PaaS cloud services for test, development, staging, and production environmentsImplement automation to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure, services, and endpointsImplement infrastructure monitoring and APM solutions such as DataDog, ELK, Grafana Prometheus, New Relic, and DynatraceDevelop threat models to ensure services are secure and meet compliance standardsMaintain knowledge of current and future cloud technologiesBe on-call for services that the team ownsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience5 years of IT infrastructure experience3 years of experience designing, building, and operating distributed complex software systems on AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with DevOps software development methodsExperience with Web Application FirewallRequired SkillsExperience with Compute, Database, Storage, Networking, and Security services in at least one of the major cloud providers; AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with automation tools like CircleCI, GitLab, GitHub, or JenkinsExperience with Linux CLI as well as knowledge of HTTP, REST, JSON, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Boto3Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Tanzu, Rancher, Nomad, AKS, ECS, EKS, or GKEExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to collaborative with other internal departmentsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to adapt to changing technology environmentPreferred : Experience supporting mission critical, 24x7 systemsExperience working with AzureExperience working within Agile / Scrum frameworksDemonstrated proficiency with at least one modern general-purpose programming language like Java, C , Go, Python, etc.Experience with event driven architectures and serverless technologies like Amazon API Gateway and AWS LambdaExperience maintaining Microsoft Front Door WAFExperience with CMP tools like CloudBolt, Morpheus, or RightScaleExperience with Cost Optimization tools like CloudHealth, Cloudability, CloudCheckr, Flexera One, or Spot Cloud AnalyzerCertifications RequiredIf one of the mandatory certifications is not currently held the successful candidate will be required to obtain at least one within 90 days of commencing the role : AWS Solution Architect Professional or Azure Solutions ArchitectPreferred : Additional Industry Cloud Technology CertificationsUnique RequirementsPosition requires travel to attend conferences and occasional offsite meetings (10%)Additional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $240,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
