Job Summary
TheSr.Solutions Architect - InfrastructurewillassistSHI's customersinthepost-sales implementation ofdata center infrastructure initiativesasclientsmove towards modern data center solutions. Thisdeliveryrole involveslow-level designandthe hands-ondeployment ofenterprise infrastructure and platforms,providing upgrade and migration services, andensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Additionally, theSr.Solutions Architect – Infrastructureserves as a mentor to otherconsultants within the team.
This position is a remote position with Home Office setup asdeterminedby SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to : _
Performslow-leveldesign and implementation work that may include architecture analysis and design, system migration,and systems engineering
Responsible for the design and implementation of :
Converged & hyperconverged solutions
Storage & SAN
Disaster recovery
Server virtualization & operations
Backup & ransomware resiliency solutions
Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the project
Collaborate with sales team in identifying and closing professional services opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetings
Configuration and upgrade services within our customers’ and partners environments
Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to other architects and consultants within the team
Participate in pre-sales conversations, design, planning of services engagements
Stay up to date and on top of top industry trends and offerings
Provide technical leadership and mentorship in a pre-sales and post-sales capacity to support successful understanding, evaluation and adoption of offerings
Demonstrate long-term thinking as it relates to our Infrastructure practice and customer engagements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
Minimum 7 years’ experience working with infrastructure (blade chassis& servers, hypervisors, storage,storage fabrics, backup solutions,etc.)
Thorough understanding of : virtualization technologies & software defined datacenter
Required Skills
Ability to design, build and implement equipment from the loading dock to production-ready
Ability to define, design, build, and maintain systems and solutions leveraging systems and infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong analytical and research skills
Ability to guide other consultants within the team
Strong project time management and communication skills
Consultative approach to deploying enterprise architecture
Passion for technology
Certifications Required
- Expert level certifications in one or more infrastructure technology platforms (ex : VCP, VCDX, CCIE, VMCE)
Unique Requirements
Travel to client sites, up to 20%
Ability to lift up to 50lb for equipment racking
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
