Job Summary
Monitor and assist the maintenance of all SHI facilities systems and buildings in NJ, provide support to SHI employees, as required. Ensure SHI’s operations remain appropriately stocked. Make deliveries to various SHI locations as needed.
This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is performed in one of SHI’s New Jersey office locations.

Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
- Distribute packages and materials to the different departments of the company
- Follow a systemized route to deliver packages to all parts of the company
- Collect outgoing mail from all departments
- Track of interoffice mail and delivers in a timely manner
- Deliver packages from building to building (Somerset & Piscataway)
- Maintain incoming and outgoing mail logs
- Restock office and kitchen supplies companywide in a timely basis
- Maintain inventory levels of supplies throughout all departments
- Responsible for weekly and bi-weekly inventory reports
- Place orders with Facilities to maintain inventory levels
- Helps Facilities and other departments with projects as needed
- Maintain company vehicles logs and maintenance checks
- Report any vehicle issue or concerns to Facilities
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- 1 year experience in package handling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Required Skills
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to use PCs or laptops to monitor inventories, reorder supplies and write reports
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of assignment
Certifications Required
A successful candidate must possess the following certification, if the certification is not held at time of hire, the candidate must obtain it within a short period of acting in the role.
- DOT Medical Certification
Unique Requirements
- Extended hours are required to complete some special projects
- Position requires the ability to move or lift up to 50lbs or up to 70lbs in a team lift
Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $31,200 - $40,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
