Job Summary

SHI has an opportunity available as a Public Sector Account Manager within France and to be based hybrid at our Issy les Moulineaux office, near Paris.

 

As a Public Sector Account Manager, you will be developing both existing and net new customers within the French Public sector by calling into prospective and existing customers daily to introduce SHI’s unique value propositions and grow share of wallet and answer public RFPs.

 

You will also be working with our RFP team.

 

Within this role you will be focused on selling solutions from SHI’s core competencies which include but are not limited to Hardware, software licenses, cloud services, Datacenter solutions, ITAM and professional services. As a Solution Provider, we want you to understand the prospects’ and existing clients business needs, whilst focusing on SHI’s Enterprise Software Licensing and Cloud services from partners such as Microsoft, AWS, VMWare, Veeam, Cisco, Citrix, HPE and Dell Technologies to name a few.

 

Your role will be twofold, representing our core values of providing world class customer support and achieving monthly targets and KPIs as set by the business, all part of being a Public Sector Account Manager sales professional. Within this role you will work closely with the support functions across the SHI International business. As determined by the company’s overall strategy you will be required as a Public Sector Account Manager to continue to learn and develop your skills by completing a number of sales certifications as set by the business.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

 

  • Development of existing and new prospective clients to achieve sales targets as set by the business within the designated business area.
  • Increase lines of business within the client accounts focusing on SHI’s core competencies.
  • Increase and maintain contact with decision makers.
  • Follow up with leads/potential business.
  • Complete customer IT profiles in CRM on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on email marketing campaigns.
  • Attend Customer Meetings and QBR sessions, minimum of 5x Customer meetings per week.
  • Develop strong relationships with our key partners and vendors.
  • Exceed profit and revenue targets.
  • Complete all KPI’s as set by the business on a quarterly basis to include any training and development courses as determined for your role.
  • Book meetings for technical specialists.
  • Drive attendance to SHI hosted technology days.
  • Understand daily business needs leading to transformational project-based work.
  • Continue to develop business relationships with customers that are built and continue to support and sell IT solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-year sales experience in IT and Public Sector
  • University Degree and equivalent

Required Skills

  • Ability and experience in Public Sector.
  • Capacity and experience in answering Request for Proposals, in particular in the Public sector.
  • Commitment, attitude and sales discipline.
  • Have flare and entrepreneurship to build your own customer base.
  • Possess a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn about new and emerging technology.
  • Ability to build rapport with potential customers and utilize your internal resources to help build your business.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Possess phone communication and cold calling skills.
  • Must possess ability to draft professional and clear email communications.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail (works with accuracy and thoroughness when completing tasks).
  • Possess organisational, multitasking skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Driven and self-motivated to hit both individual and team targets.

Certifications Required

  • Industry recognised sales qualifications or certifications consummate to the role, for example: HPE Hybrid IT 2019 Sales Certification, VMWare Certified Professional. Azure Fundamentals, AWS Professional.

Additional Information

  • Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
