SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
All required certification fees and training paid for by the District
Dental, vision, life and long-term disability
if working a minimum 20 hours per week
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Applicants must be minimum 21 years old with at least 5 years driving experience.
- Ability to secure and maintain required licenses and certifications through the State of Michigan (CDL with B, P, and S endorsements). All fees and training will be paid by the District for qualified candidates, subject to continued successful employment.
- Must pass a physical examination including random drug testing, demonstrating mental / physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position.
- Ability to maintain order and safety among students on the bus, communicating clearly and in a positive manner.
- Criminal background check including fingerprinting required.
Rate of Pay : Per DESPA Contract
Hours : Hours and route to be determined.
