What You'll Do :
- Own the overall quality management of a V-BAT aircraft module , overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI), Supplier Quality, and Product Quality processes.
- Serve as the systems expert for Shield AI's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring effective execution through mastery of processes, documentation, and data management. Drive continuous improvement by defining, updating, and streamlining essential quality documentation and activities.
- Collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams to support the design development process. Provide expertise in quality assurance, process optimization, risk assessment and management, and strategies for verification, validation, and capability qualification. Identify and integrate industry standards to ensure the successful delivery of the V-BAT aircraft.
- Develop and evaluate inspection and testing methods, tools, and equipment to uphold product integrity. Conduct assessments to determine accountability and cost implications for products, materials, or processes that deviate from established standards and specifications.
- Review and refine quality systems to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and ensure consistent adherence to reliable standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
- Manage non-conformance processes , including providing material review dispositions.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to identify underlying issues, implement effective corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
