Shield HealthCare is looking for a Data Architect for our Valencia, CA corporate office. The Data Architect designs, develops, implements, modifies, and supports database components for core business processes. Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position while maintaining technical documentation of process flow associated with their work.
This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Architect and design Data Architecture to ensure data is secure, reliable, scalable, and consistent between distributed systems
- Proficiency in SQL Server Management, and Stored Procedures ( 5 years).
- Monitoring & maintaining SQL Server Databases ( 5 years) necessary.
- Under general supervision implements all aspects of a database design - schema design, coding, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.
- Participates in every aspect of the development and implementation, working with project analysts to ensure full understanding of the change implications to business processes.
- Confirms application meets specifications through objective review process.
- Ensures the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identifies bottlenecks and bugs, log issues and recommend solutions to identified issues.
- Helps maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Performs unit and system level testing on applications.
- Develops data migration and integration processes to legacy systems using identified development tools and technologies.

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
