The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities. This role involves managing various tasks, improving efficiency, and reducing costs as needed. The Director of Operations works closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other executives to coordinate and align departmental operations and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the COO to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progress.
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
- Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
- Oversee internal support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics, and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders.
- Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
- Ensure processing of daily work including SAR review and transmission, FI file processing, and third-party data connections.
- Ensure SOC requirements are met and participate in the annual SOC audit.
- Contribute as a member of the company's product owner's committees for Engage and Assure.
- Establish procedures for privileged access and manage user access.
- Lead and mentor Operations team.
- Refine and enforce operational policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to construct SQL queries for standalone and PowerBI reporting.
- Outstanding communication and people skills.
- Knowledge of banking rules and guidelines is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.).
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and various business software.
- Proven experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Proven experience with Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence)
- Proven experience in Azure Portal
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
