Basic Requirements
- 8 years of applicable professional experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- 5 additional years of applicable professional experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment may be substituted for a degree.
- The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software integration solutions for HPC infrastructure in a Linux environment.
- This position’s tasking involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate various technologies, ensuring smooth data flow between different systems and platforms.
- The Software Integration Engineer shall be expected to troubleshoot software integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
- General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components
- Experience troubleshooting system and software issues across the full software stack
- Experience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana
- Experience with Git Source Control System
- Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
