What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Content Specialist position at Shield Exteriors?
Shield Exteriors is looking for a talented Digital Content Specialist to join our marketing team. This individual would be responsible for producing the content that goes out on our online platforms. This is a content production position meaning strong understanding of photography, videography and editing is a must. We are the premier metal roofing contractor in the Midwest servicing Indiana, Ohio and Michigan and need someone that understands what it takes to keep our online presence attractive and up to date at all times.
The Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for:
- Producing and curating high quality digital content for use on our social media platforms as well as our company website
- Creating reels and other short form video content for platforms such as IG and TikTok
- Producing content for use in online and traditional advertising
- You MUST have experience with digital cameras, editing software and flying a drone camera
- Must be able to travel our 2 hour service radius (vehicle or travel reimbursement is provided)
- Prior experience in marketing, branding, and knowledge of ad production and posting schedule is highly preferred
- Assisting in proofreading and editing content and preparing it for delivery
- Ability to meet with our customers and do testimonials and interviews, at their homes
- Knowledge of data and analytics to know when to post content on each online platform
- Detail oriented- Maintain tight deadlines
- Flexible hours and availability (some weekends)
- Ability to showcase previous experience and a portfolio is highly recommended
