We are a rapidly growing Metal roofing company in Garrett, IN looking to add a new member to our team. We are looking for an experienced Roofing Installation Assistant.
The Roofing Installation Assistant will directly help to coordinate all activities of construction/roofing. This will include, but not limited to: scheduling, inspections, delivery and pick up of trailers, customer service, as well as minor repairs if necessary. Help to ensure timely and quality installation of all assigned roofing projects in the field.
Education:
- Minimum of 3 years roofing experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of all types of Metal, Rubber, and Asphalt Shingle roofing
- Reliable
Special Skills or Equipment Required:
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Basic knowledge of Building Codes
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pull and back a trailer with Company Provided vehicle/trailer
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Need to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions including low and high temperatures
Job Duties:
- Schedule day-to-day operations (i.e., Call in Permit Inspections, order equipment (i.e. dumpsters, warehouse materials)
- Maintain good public relations with customer
- Conduct final inspections and arrange necessary repairs
- Plan job workload in advance (5 days out)
- Maintain equipment at jobsite
- Complete and upload daily notes, final pictures, and inspection reports into CRM
- Ability to solve unforeseen dilemmas and problems as they occur
Other Duties:
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
