Shield HealthCare is looking for a Reimbursement Program Specialist to implement internal processes and controls to ensure compliance with new and existing regulatory requirements.
This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for working with provider, government and advocacy agencies as assigned
- Tracks company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure that all departments are apprised of current, relevant information
- Monitors regulatory agency policy changes to include research and communication of findings to internal sources
- Assisting in management of all reimbursement related issues and policies/procedures as assigned
- Act as a resource to the organization for payer knowledge and support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree preferred
- 2 years management experience
- Strong financial analysis and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
