Job Purpose :
The Regional Training Specialist will report to the Regional Director of Operations and is responsible for conducting both new hire and ongoing functional training as well as quality assurance audits, primarily but not limited to our Pharmacy Technicians, Patient Support Center Representatives, and Pharmacy Liaisons.
Job Duties :
- Provide Classroom Training for all new liaisons and pharmacy technicians.
- Provide "Liaison Perspective" training for new Pharmacists and other members of the Shields Business team when requested.
- Provide in Clinic Training support for new liaisons.
- Provide continuing education for existing liaisons.
- Develop written training materials covering all key components of Liaison role

Education / Experience :
Required Licensure / Certification : We are seeking experienced pharmacy technicians who are state registered as a pharmacy technician. Nationally certified as a CPhT is strongly preferred but not required. Should additional licensure need to be obtained, the applicant will commit to obtaining the required licensure within a mutually agreed upon timeframe. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements.
Years of Experience : 3-5 years as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably with specialty pharmacy experience. Prior training experience is a plus.
Education : High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree or PTCB / ExCPT License preferred
