JOB TITLE: ASC Business Operations Coordinator
LOCATION: On-site, position will float between our ASC Locations in SHREWSBURY, NATICK, MEDFORD and CHELMSFORD, MA
HOURS: Monday- Friday day hours

A. PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Business Operations Coordinator will provide
management and operational support to all aspects of the Ambulatory Surgery
business line.
B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Working with the ASC Operations, coordinates Ambulatory Surgery
projects to set up project standards, track project tasks, outcomes, and communicate
project needs.
•Evaluates and monitors project progress by reviewing project statuses and proactively working with teams to ensure tasks are completed and communicated timely.
•Represents ASC Operations at meetings, participates in discussions, note follow up items and communicate progress after meetings.
•Creates and updates presentations, documentation and all other needed materials.
•Schedules meetings and creates and distributes all materials needed for meetings.
•Supports administrative needs of VP of ASC Operations.
•Travel to multiple locations on a daily basis
C. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or other related field strongly preferred.
•Extensive experience internal at Shields or strong project management experience can substitute Bachelor’s degree.
D. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•5 years’ experience in office setting, with increasing responsibility in project management or coordination.
•Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Experience with project management software desired.
•Strong problem solving skills.
•Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to manage competing priorities.
E. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and
effective utilization of computer and phone systems with or without
accommodation.
F. INTERNAL/EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS:
Extensive interaction with employees at all organizational levels and outside vendors and partners.
