Strategic Talent Partner
Talent, culture and operational excellence leader who plays a crucial role in aligning talent acquisition and people management strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Process Improvement & Innovation: Develop and implement streamlined talent processes that align with best practices, technology solutions and organizational goals, to enhance operational efficiency, manage costs, and improve the overall employee experience.
• Talent Acquisition: You will be responsible for leading and supporting a Talent Acquisition Manager and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, and ensuring the alignment of recruitment efforts with business goals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and department leads to understand staffing needs and team dynamics. Provide guidance on staffing structures, workforce planning and workload modeling, succession planning and training and development needs for employees and management. Partner to devise sustainable recruiting plans that meet our immediate, mid-term and long-term hiring forecasts and meet regularly to review progress and updates
• Employer Branding: Collaborate with Marketing and HR to build and promote a strong employer brand. Monitor the competitive landscape; design and develop creative ideas to strengthen Shields Health’s competitive position as the employer of choice for top talent.
• Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilize recruitment analytics to refine processes and provide strategic insights that aid us in designing best in class talent acquisition strategies. Manage and clearly communicate data analysis and reporting on talent strategy outcomes, including key metrics and scorecard updates.
• Talent Development & Retention: Partner with the Learning & Development team to manage talent retention programs and learning & development initiatives.
• Early Talent & Campus Recruitment: You will be responsible for ensuring the team has the resources and structure to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with academic departments, career services, and students to enhance internship recruitment efforts and build a ready pipeline of local talent in our communities. You will foster collaboration between Talent Acquisition and
operations, to ensure students are supported throughout their internships with mentorship and career guidance, leading to high retention rates and positive feedback from both students and managers.
• Special Projects: Lead and contribute to special projects as requested by Shields Chief Talent Officer.
Qualifications
• Experience: Typically, 8 years in HR operations, talent strategy, or HR project/program
management. Experience leading large-scale process improvement initiatives strongly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field.
• Skills:
o Proven experience in workforce planning and business transformation.
o Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and experience developing talent policies to align with legal requirements and best practices
o Strong organizational and process management skills; comfort managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing within a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment
o Proficiency with HR technology solutions and systems; implementation experience preferred
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact and collaborate with hiring managers and other stakeholders
o Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content that effectively conveys HR policies, strategies, and data. Skilled in organizing information in a logical structure while tailoring messaging to meet the needs of the target audience.
o Strong skills in creating clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards in a way that is understandable for stakeholders at all levels
o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Ability to balance qualitative and big picture impact alongside quantitative analysis

Location:
• This is a full-time position that will require onsite presence at the Quincy office, a minimum of 4 days per week. Some travel to our sites and hiring events throughout New England will be required.
