Responsibilities:
- Will manage the dietary department, ensuring compliance for dietary standards and with federal, state and county regulations.
- Plan, develop and monitor the nutritional needs and program for our residents.
- Participate with the interdisciplinary team to address the dietary needs of our residents.
- Manage and train the dietary staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Ensure that food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling and storage practices are followed.
Qualifications:
- Required to have Certification for Dietary Manager.
- Strong leadership experience and organizational skills in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility is required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary guidelines.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and their families.
