What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Shields Pharmacy?
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control inspections on products to ensure they meet company standards and customer specifications
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to conduct accurate measurements and tests
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process, including incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Operate and maintain coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify product dimensions
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a quality technician or related role preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and their operation is a plus
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes and procedures, including CGMP guidelines Is prefered.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or patterns
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
