Assistant Temperature Probe Calibration Technician

Shifletts Inc is looking for one candidate to join our Wenatchee Branch team as an Assistant Temperature Probe Calibration Technician.
What qualities or skills does a good candidate possess?
* Certification to drive scissor/aerial lift - Please be advised that this position will require the operation of scissor/aerial lift, which will be operated at heights up to 30 feet.
* Knowledge of basic construction field
* Ability to solder electrical components & wiring
* Valid Washington State driver license and good driving record
* Must be 18 years of age to operate power tools
What will I be doing/what are my expectations?
This position involves working under the Temperature Probe Calibration Technician to perform calibrations of probes in controlled atmosphere and refrigerated areas. A safety conscious attitude and attention to detail will be the key to being successful. You will be operating a scissor lift to put temperature probes into an “ice bath” and be trained to perform minor maintenance of replacing/troubleshooting probes.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
