The role
As an Associate Site Reliability Engineer, you will focus on maintaining and optimizing cloud application infrastructure under senior engineers' guidance. You'll work closely with senior team members to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of deployment environments for application teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering teams in Poland and the US, assisting them in implementing SRE best practices in their daily operations and optimizing code with infrastructure considerations in mind.
Where you'll work
The position is remote within the United States, preferably for candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones. Ideally, we're looking for someone in the Austin area who can visit our office occasionally, but this is not a strict requirement.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining reliable and up-to-date infrastructure : automating infrastructure changes through scripting, ensuring critical parts of the infrastructure are monitored, and setting up alerts.
- Solving basic to intermediate infrastructure problems with the assistance of other team members.
- Contributing to continuously improving SRE processes and practices by offering ideas and feedback to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Assisting in responding to incidents and outages, diagnosing problems, and working towards quick resolutions to minimize downtime.
