An energetic, self-motivated, and experienced business analyst is needed to drive the development and testing of major software implementations that provide solutions for critical business processes at a leading Electric & Gas Utility Company.
The candidate must have the ability to work under tight deadlines, be a quick learner, and demonstrate flexibility when priorities are shifted.
Responsibilities
Lead Scrum teams and monitor delivery.
Promote Scrum / Agile principles in the Scrum teams and stakeholders and drive process improvements.
Coach Product Owners, team members and business leaders in agile methodology.
Share knowledge and promote best agile practices.
Capture and report team performance metrics.
Gather and document software functional requirements working collaboratively with business stakeholders, developers, and testers.
Drive testing initiatives end-to-end (i.e. from conception to UAT).
Create test plans and strategies for various testing initiatives.
Create and document test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
Review and refine test cases with business SMEs and obtain sign-off.
Manage, track, and report on test execution.
Execute test scripts, track progress, and report out on status.
Log and track defects to resolution, working closely with developers, PMO, and business SMEs.
Engage in troubleshooting sessions with software developers and support team.

Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role.
A minimum of 9 years of experience working as a business analyst, test manager, and / or project manager on an enterprise work / asset management system implementation at an electric or gas utility company. (e.g. ARM, Maximo, SAP, Oracle WAM, etc.)
A minimum of two years' experience writing test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate.
The following skills and experiences are NOT required but nice to have :
Knowledge of gas leak management and gas leak management software
Knowledge of energy utility work management processes
Familiarity with both manual and automated software quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL / PL SQL for writing queries against an Oracle relational database.
