What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hadoop Administrator : Bloomberg position at ShiftCode Analytics?
Candidates must be able to work on a hybrid set-up in NY (2 days onsite per week)
Must have strong experience in HBase and Java coding.
Requirements :
- 5 years of experience in Hadoop and related technologies (HBase, Hive, HDFS)
- Strong understanding of HBase architecture, HBase internals, and HBase client tuning
- Strong experience with Hive 3, Spark and Oozie
- 2 years of experience in Java development and associated technologies (Eg : Spring / JMX / JDBC).
- Knowledge of modern development methodologies and tools (Jenkins / Maven / Jira).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with distributed systems architecture and system design.
- Knowledge of Ansible.
- Experience working with open-source software / community.
