Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process at the front desk.
- Answer phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments with excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with healthcare regulations.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to patient visits.
- Utilize Mod Med or Practice Fusion EHR
- Assist healthcare providers during patient visits as needed, ensuring a seamless workflow within the clinic.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of clinic operations and medical terminology, including dental terminology.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Meditech and Epic for documentation and data management.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks accurately while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective documentation review and management.
- Capability to adapt quickly to new software systems and processes within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to assist team members as needed.
