Job Description
As a ShiftMed certified nursing assistant, you will be responsible for delivering safe and compassionate care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, and assisted living communities. Your duties will include measuring vital signs, notifying supervisors of patient concerns, assisting with ambulation and proper bed positioning, identifying abnormal findings, and documenting patient information accurately.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a certification from an accredited CNA training course, an active license from the state in which you plan to work, at least one year of acute care experience as a CNA, and physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking. You must also have basic computer skills, a negative TB test result, and a COVID-19 vaccination.
