What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Merchandiser position at ShiftSmart?
Task: Wearing and using technology on your arms and hands that will control a device through movement and manual inputs. You will be required to give feedback on your experience with the device through a survey.
Minimum Requirements: There is a pre-screening on site and you will be tested in the following areas. If you fail any of them, you will not be allowed to participate and may not be compensated for your time.
1. Must be willing to travel to designated data collection facility in Atlanta,GA during normal business hours
2. Must be proficient in spoken and written English
3. Must have normal or close-to-normal hearing
4. Must have normal vision OR able to wear vision-correcting glasses/contacts on the day(s) of the test
5. Must have no history of epilepsy, seizures, or severe traumatic brain injury (i.e., concussion with nausea and/or memory loss)
6. Must have no condition that impairs ability to grip or touch objects with hands and all 10 digits
7. Must have no pre-existing conditions in the arms (which includes shoulder, arm, wrist, hand, fingers) such as tendinitis, existing or recurring pain, etc.
8. Must not be pregnant - we don’t want to induce stress on neonates.
Important: You will receive an email the day prior to your scheduled shift where you will receive information on required actions before arriving on site. In particular, you will have to complete two NDAs.
Other Notes: If you've participated in a test via uTest called Gauntlet Wearable Tech, you aren't eligible and will be turned away without pay. In the event you are turned away due to overbooking, you will be paid $20 for your time and will be allowed to reschedule your shift for a different day.
Cancellation/no show policy: You can only cancel before 2pm the day before your shift. If you cancel after that or no show you won’t be able to see shifts in the future. If you need to cancel, please do so through the app. To cancel your shift, go to your schedule in the app, click on the shift, and select the 'Cancel' button
