We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team and conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for veterans virtually.
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Clinical Psychologist to perform psychological assessments specifically for veterans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing recommendations based on their assessments. This is a virtual position; however, candidates must hold a valid Massachusetts license (PSYPACT a Plus).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments virtually, including clinical interviews, psychometric testing, and behavioral observations tailored for veterans.
- Analyze and interpret assessment results to diagnose mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment recommendations for veteran clients.
- Prepare detailed psychological reports summarizing assessment findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and provide consultation as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience conducting psychological assessments, with a preference for experience working with veterans.
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological tests and assessment tools.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with telehealth or virtual assessment platforms.
- Specialized training or experience in working with veteran populations and understanding their unique psychological needs.
- Knowledge of veteran-specific mental health issues such as PTSD, TBI, and combat-related stress.
