- Learn how to read P&IDs.
- Learn the process of Equipment Layout, the Equipment List, and type of equipment
- Instrument List and instrumentation.
- Performing Pump Hydraulic Calculations and Heat Transfer Calculations
- Learning specifications, codes, and regulations
- Working on document control
- Analyzing various drawings to gain a better understanding of the project
- Participating in the implementation of the Project Schedule
- Determining and analyzing Cost Control (Project Budget).
- Participating in procurement of equipment
- Attending a site visit to see the details of the project in person.
- Creating a presentation at the end of the program to show upper management everything you have accomplished.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Procore ideal.
- Has an interest in working in the construction industry; specifically industrial construction
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
