What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Marketing Intern position at Shin-Etsu Silicones of America?
Job Summary: This position will work along side and assist the Inside Sales and Hybrid Sales Rep.

RTV Division
- Review and update SESA webpage TDS’s to ensure all products are listed and searchable
- Verify uniformity of measurement units provided on the TDS’s are the same for all products within a group.
- Verify that products are listed under the correct product group. i.e. coatings, adhesives, TIM’s etc.
- Review and eliminate duplicate accounts in Salesforce
- Verify and correct hierarchy of companies, from subsidiaries to HQ
- Produce workflow charts for basic tasks; Sample requests, regulatory requests, (REACH, PFAS, etc.) TSR submissions, PDR submissions, Pricing requests, etc.
- Work from target account lists for specified markets to get a connection with customers we do not have any current relationship with using Linked In and other online sources. (lead generation/dialing for dollars)
- Handle initial responses to email inquiries that come into Inside Sales.
HTV Division
- Generate general packaging specification for HTV products.
- Review and update SESA webpage TDS’s to insure all products are listed and searchable
- Verify uniformity of measurement units provided on the TDS’s are the same for all products within a group.
- Review and eliminate duplicate accounts in Salesforce
- Produce workflow charts for basic tasks; Sample requests, regulatory requests, (REACH, PFAS, etc.) TSR submissions, PDR submissions, Pricing requests, etc.
- Research existing markets and potential new ones. Use Linkedin and cold calling to dig deeper for new customers.
Marketing
- Enter all Sales Leads from trade shows into Salesforce
- ACS
- NYSCC Suppliers’ Day
- Thermal Management Expo
- NPE
- RAPID TCT
- Design and publish a LinkedIn post for SESA every week.
- Review and update all data tables (Fluids, RTV, HTV) from which TDS are generated on our website and make sure that the TDS are properly populated with all the necessary data. Verify with Sales and Product Managers that all products are listed and obsolete products are deleted.
- Review and update web page content with owners, for example, Geoff Thyrum for the TIM pages.
- Review and update all Literature on SESA web side with latest revisions.
- Inventory all hard copy literature at SESA. Discard obsolete and prepare a request for replacements from SEC Japan, if possible.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Become with our new Document Management System and roll it out to users.
Education & Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or related field.

- Ability to properly manage resources.
