Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and beverage preparation.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Prepare and serve the food menu with excellence.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus; experience in banquet or catering services is also desirable.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with local laws.
