Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The Bar Manager will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience, managing staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the bar, and maintaining a safe and compliant environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage and train bartenders and bar staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and maintain the bar’s drink menu, including seasonal offerings and signature cocktails.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor laws and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock levels to avoid shortages or waste.
- Handle cash, credit, and opening/closing procedures for the bar.
- Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain bar procedures, including cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to align service and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Bartender, or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and bar equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and inventory management.
- Must possess necessary certifications (e.g., bartending, alcohol service, etc.).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift heavy items (e.g., kegs, cases of bottles, etc.).
- Must have good mobility and dexterity to handle various tasks behind the bar.
Pay: Starting at $10/hr plus tips
