Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the specific needs of each resident.
- Uphold resident rights and ensure dignity and respect in all interactions.
- Assist resident in daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor patient health through regular observation of well-being.
- Provide support for hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort during end-of-life transitions.
- Engage with residents through social activities to promote mental and emotional health.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to support residents with mobility challenges.
- Work effectively with individuals with disabilities, providing tailored support to enhance their independence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a group home or caregiving setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and resident rights is essential.
- Certification in CPR is highly required.
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and assessment of needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and resident needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
