Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor patients' health and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Support individuals with dementia care or other cognitive impairments through engaging activities.
- Help clients maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, long-term care, home health, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and assisting individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is beneficial but not required.
- Must be willing to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
