Shine Learning Alliance is a client-centered, and employee-empowered agency providing play-based and child-led ABA support. We are a small, boutique agency providing collaborative care for our clientele and their parents. We believe in supporting our staff and we offer our BCBAs a small caseload so they can provide supervision and guidance to our BTs & RBTs as well as building rapport with our clients and their families.


Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) located in Irvine, CA. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting behavior assessments, designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and providing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Additional duties include collecting and analyzing data, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and conducting parent education sessions. The BCBA will also be responsible for monitoring client progress and ensuring treatment fidelity.


Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior change in clients.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers, staff, and families on behavioral strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic support for clients.
  • Stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles, medical terminology, and patient care practices.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality in medical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate care and advocating for the needs of individuals with disabilities.
