What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Warehouse position at SHINHUNG GLOBAL USA Inc.?
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts for 80% of shift.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with all OSHA and SDS standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Conduct general cleaning of warehouse floor, ensuring loose debris from pallets have been removed.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Complete daily inspection of equipment.
- Assist with inventory count when necessary.
- Any other duties are required.
Qualifications
- Must have forklift experience within the last 6 months
- Forklift certification preferred, not required
- Must be willing to Learn
- Ability to promote a safe work environment
- Follow instructions for keeping records
- Understanding that overtime may be required and is considered mandatory
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule/shifts
- Work required production Saturday's (usually twice a month)
