What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Keeper position at SHINHUNG GLOBAL USA Inc.?
The Inventory Keeper will oversee all aspects of inventory management. This position will work with Material Assistant to ensure proper count, item identification, organization, and tagging inbound product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:·
- Compare system and physical stock
- Input data, make qty-location adjustments
- Update/report daily files
- Verify any changes, updating Vendor Maintained Inventory (VMI) to accommodate the accurate physical results
- Prepare/analyze inbound pallet plan
- Print, Attach, and apply location labels to individual pallets
- Perform accurate system transfers via tablet
- Verify tablet and scanner usage and return report
- Notate the physical empty rack locations and report them to inbound staff
- Verify material stock dimensions, weight, and pallet qty
- Develop rack efficiency plan using rack and pallet dimensions
- Document abnormal pallet conditions (i.e. partial, damaged, incorrect labels)
- Coordinate with Lg personnel to plan for abnormal case resolutions
- Upkeep/maintain list of irregular export material from planners.
- Prepare for scheduled shipments. Verifying qty for each shipment prior to arrival
- Update system material information and rack information to match the physical results
- Location barcode, and placard maintenance for each material location
- Maintain No Good (NG) material inbound and accrued during warehouse movement. Create Logistical Non Conforming (LNCR).
- Coordinate with person in charge (PIC) on status of material. Considering scrap and claims
- Develop official inventory/ audit plan
- Accurately report inventory results to client
- Resolve urgent picking/order discrepancies
- Locate and report pallet qty/ rack locations via requests from supervisor
- Perform various warehouse tasks
- Cross-train to be able to cover inbound/outbound staff tasks
- Other task as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience working with pivot tables, formulas and have an understanding on how they work)
- Required to take Excel practical (used to gauge Excel knowledge)
- Proven work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Ability to work extended hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Warehouse Experience
- Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated
- Reliable, Organized, and Detail Oriented
- Must be able to Multi-Task
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an obsession with accuracy
- Superior data management and technical skills with the ability to successfully deal with numerical data.

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Preferred:
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors, bending, and kneeling.
