Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. Your expertise in supply chain management, negotiation, and supplier management will be crucial in maintaining efficient operations and driving the success of our organization.
Position Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage purchasing team projects and daily task.
- Analyze client's production forecast.
- Price analysis.
- Experience with business negotiations.
- Plan purchase and supply schedule.
- Provide quick response to any and all urgent quality issues to customer
- Place purchase orders to suppliers.
- Meet the procurement schedule & resolve procurement problems.
- Liaise with international Suppliers Overseas
- Control shortage risks and stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or excess inventory
- Communicate with custom brokers and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide proper shipping documents for customs clearance.
- Resolve Quality Problems on Supplied items.
- Analyze & Report on purchase / sales performance.
- Stay in touch with costumers constantly.
- Provide shipment information and logistic schedule.
- Purchase parts for the lowest cost through negotiation.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (required)
- Bilingual Korean and English (required)
- Experience leading team's in fast pace environment.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
- Understanding of Logistic process (Ocean, Air, Ground)
- Must be knowledgeable with M/S Office (Power-point, Excel, Word)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under fast paced environment and have the ability to handle pressure and to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Ability to work overtime as required by business needs.
- Must be able to provide customer support to clients and vendors
- Provide assistance when necessary to address concerns or not to standard product.
- International trading field experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
