Associate Attorney
Shinners & Cook seeks a Litigation Attorney. This Great Lakes Bay region law firm specializes in business, real estate, estate planning, probate, and litigation. We are looking for motivated candidates with strong communication and organizational skills. An ability to work under pressure and problem solve regarding work assignments is required. Candidates with roots in the area are desired although that is not a prerequisite.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain full case responsibility, client interaction, file management, and arguing in court.
- Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
- Building relationships with clients based on trust.
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants should have 3 years of working experience.
- Experience with business, real estate, estate planning, litigation, or probate work is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to meet with clients with minimal or no supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
