Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join our team at our Freeport, TX location. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for monitoring the safe and efficient operation of compounding PVC resin into customer-specific batches.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor production rates and adjust processes as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Inspect and report any issues or abnormalities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Process Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in chemical manufacturing environment
- Basic algebra skills and ability to apply mathematical concepts to calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work all applicable shifts, including weekends and holidays
